In this blog, you will see me reminding myself to be MINDFUL, To practice MINDFULNESS. Here is an explanation of what the heck i’m talking about -

Those are some basic definitions. But here is what it means to me: CONTROL, RELIEF and THE ABILITY TO LIVE HAPPILY.
What you say? What the heck do I mean?
Yes, I thought that at first too, but practicing MINDFULNESS allows me to get CONTROL of my racing thoughts, ALL of them. Including the irrational ones! (can I get a whoot whoot?!)
It allows me to get RELIEF from the toughs and feeling that make me feel less than, all of this in turn allows me to feel and live happier.

It doesn’t ’fix’ things, you have to put in to get out, just like everything else in life and I have only just begun, so I have a long way to go.
The thing is - I WANT IT! I WANT to feel better - for myself, for my family.
I WILL master this. I have to, or I just wont make it. To those of you with Depression - you will know EXACTLY what i’m talking about. I do have to remind myself that I AM WORTH IT. And so are you!
